You know those moments when you’re hoping for a bit of peace, and no one will let you have it?
You might just want to read the paper, catch the headlines, have a cup of tea, GO TO THE LOO (!) and invariably, someone wants to ruin it for you.
When it’s the kids, you know they’re just being themselves and there’s nothing you can do it about it, so that’s ok.
When it’s an unexpected knock on the door, you might bristle somewhat, right?
But what if it was your 110th birthday and an entire camera crew got all up in your face and tried to take over your tea break?
I, for one, hope against all hope that I will respond just like Flossie Dickey.
