The weather warnings will remain in place until Monday night.

While the weather this weekend was mostly quite lovely, and it is due to get quite lovely again next weekend, between then and now… not so much.

Met Eireann have released a national weather warning to eleven counties, and it states as follows:

Status Yellow – Rainfall warning for Longford, Cavan, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.

A spell of rain will lead to accumulations of 25mm to 35mm of rainfall over a 24 hour period.

The warning was issued at 09:00 on Sunday morning, and will be implemented from Sunday 20 May 2018 19:00 to Monday 21 May 2018 19:00.

Time to break out the ponchos!
