She admitted, "I just don’t understand how someone could even ask that."
She added, "I understand the whole 'no one cares as much about your wedding as you do, but this feels ridiculous.
"I feel like out of anyone other than my fiancé and I, my mum should be one of the people most excited, right?"
Naturally, the couple said no to her request because it is their special day and not something they should have to share.
However, the mum was really hurt when they said no, but surely the couple has a right to reject her proposal, right?
The woman confessed, "I will never understand her thinking, and I’m sure she’s going to bring it up again."
"Or do something else to make my wedding day about her. It’s what she does best, after all."
