Westlife are back in the recording studio and we’re so excited

Jade Hayden

Go on the lads.

Westlife are exciting.

Westlife getting back together is exciting.

And Westlife getting back together and recording an entire new album is absolutely exciting.

A while back, the lads graced us all with their comeback single, Hello My Love and – thankfully – it was a banger.

Since then though, we’ve been left replaying old songs like World Of Our Own, Mandy, and Uptown Girl as we eagerly await the remaining album tracks that are set to drop sometime later this year.

But when? you whine. When will we finally be presented with the Westlife album that we have waited so long for?

Well, we don’t know – but we do know that the guys are officially back in the studio recording those new tracks and yeah, that’s probably enough to keep us going, we guess.

Nicky shared a photo of himself in Dublin’s Windmill Lane recording studio yesterday, saying that he had a “super day.”

He also included the zip mouth emoji to suggest that he wasn’t going to be able to reveal anything else about what went down in the studio.

We’re going to go ahead and assume it involved the creation of some absolute bangers though.

This comes after it was revealed that Westlife’s first Irish performance since getting back together will come on March 24 on Dancing With The Stars.

We’re long overdue one, in fairness.
