A mum has shared the most heartwarming video after The Wiggles performed at the hospital beside for her daughter.

In hopes to raise awareness for her daughter’s rare condition after she was diagnosed with Leigh’s Syndrome earlier this year, the footage sees Zahra the day before she passed away.

The bittersweet video shows The Wiggles coming into the hospital to perform as they were one of Zahra’s favourite groups.

The Wiggles’ members Lucia Field, Lachlan Gillespie, and Dorothy the Dinosaur all gathered on one side as Zahra’s parents stayed on the other.

They then performed Twinkle Twinkle, with Zahra raising her hands up to join in.

Her mum wrote on TikTok: “This day was so special to us, Zahra was obsessed with the wiggles and for them to come and see her is a memory we will never forget.”

People have since gone straight to the comments to send the family their condolences.

One TikTok user said: “Fabulous The Wiggles were able to spend time with her, but raising her wee arms to do the actions, I lost it. Sweet dreams darling.”

“This is so heart-wrenching. So sorry for your loss. May little angel Zahra’s soul rest in peace,” another added.

And a third commented: “Such a sad moment for her family, especially her mum. May Allah give her patience amen.”

In a different video, Zahra’s mum opened up about her daughter’s illness, saying: “I only shared her story and videos so other families know they’re not alone in their grief and I feel […] the pain you’re going through and with Allah’s will, we’ll all get through it.”

Leigh’s Syndrome is a rare inherited neurometabolic disorder that affects the central nervous system.
