The location where the winning Christmas Millionaire Raffle ticket was sold has been revealed.

One person had every reason to celebrate as they rang in 2018, after winning the €1 million prize in Sunday night’s draw.

The lucky number for the top prize was 54239.

The winning ticket was sold at Flanagan’s Centra in Castlebridge, Wexford on Thursday December 14.

Louis Flanagan, owner of the shop, said:

“This is incredible news! It’s a dream start to the year for one of our lucky customers and I know it will bring a lot of excitement to the town as we extend our New Year’s celebrations.

“We are urging everybody in the area to check their tickets as soon as possible to ensure they collect this life-changing prize.

“Everybody in the shop is absolutely thrilled and we’ll be raising a glass to toast our lucky customer later today.”

Meanwhile, the person with Christmas Million Raffle ticket number 306241 won €250,000.

The ticket was purchased Tarpey’s SuperValu on the Cootehill Road, Cavan on Saturday December 30.

And the people with 099666, 117086, 133919 and 285203 all won €100,000 in the festive draw, which took place on New Year’s Eve.

National Lottery CEO Dermot Griffin said:
