Police have ruled out the case.

A woman who is claiming to be Madeleine McCann has taken a DNA test to see whether there is possibility that she could be another missing child, according to reports.

Over the last few weeks, Julia Wendell has posted numerous Instagram posts sharing “evidence” that she is Maddie and has even claimed that she does not believe her parents are her biological ones.

With many people, including herself, noting that there are some similarities between herself and Maddie, many of her followers have suggested that she could be another missing child – Livia Schepp.

Thousands have suggested that Julia shares more similarities with Livia, a Swiss girl who went missing at the age of six.

Livia disappeared on January 30, 2011 and is believed to have been taken alongside her twin sister Alessia from the suburb of Saint-Sulpice in the city of Lausanne in Switzerland.

According to Dr Fia Johansson, a private detective investigating the case, Julia hopes the Schepp family will also carry out a DNA test to see if there is any truth to her claims.

“Julia is very open to the idea that she may be Livia Schepp and we are investigating this possibility,” Dr Johansson told The Sun.

“I’ve spoken to her about this and she is open to the fact she could be any missing child out there – not just Madeleine. Julia just wants to know the truth about who she is.

“Julia has taken a DNA test and we are investigating if it’s possible to check her DNA with that of missing Livia.”

This comes after police in Poland shut down the claims.

According to Global News, police do not believe she is the missing girl.

They told the publication that they have “ruled out” her claims.

Polish publication Gazeta also confirmed the news.

Officers at Provincial Police Headquarters in Wroclaw also met with Julia’s family last week.

They ruled out the claims following this meeting.

Her family told the Polish charity ‘Missing Years Ago’ that their daughter suffers from mental health issues.

“We would like to take a stance on Julia’s case, which has spread the Internet and media in many countries in recent days. For us, as a family, it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and step-niece.”
