Thankfully, the baby and mother are doing well.

A woman in China was in the process of checking herself into hospital because she thought she was going into labour. What she didn't realise was that she was in the late stages and ended up having to deliver the baby in the lobby of the hospital. According to The Mirror, the 32-year-old mother was at Changsha Central Hospital in China when she began to deliver the baby. It happened so quickly that the baby was delivered in her trousers within seconds. A nurse at the hospital said,  "I thought she was going into labour, but when I inspected her trousers I saw the baby already inside." The doctors and nurses were lucky on hand to deal with the situation and bring the newborn and the mum inside. The nurse added, "The most important thing was to ensure the baby didn't fall and hit the floor."
