Investigation launched after woman's body found outside Donegal house
The woman's remains were found at 8.20 pm last night.
Gardaí in Donegal have launched an investigation after discovering a woman's body.
The woman was found dead outside a house in Co. Donegal.
It is believed her remains were found shortly after 8 pm on Thursday, January 20th.
The house is located in Kilmacrennan.
A full investigation into her death is now underway.
The woman's body was removed to Letterkenny University Hospital. A full post-mortem is set to take place today.
The postmortem results will determine the course of the investigation, Gardaí said.
A spokesperson for the Gardaí in Letterkenny stated: "Gardaí were alerted to the incident at approximately 8.20pm.
"The body of the woman has been taken to the mortuary at Letterkenny University Hospital where a post-mortem will be conducted. A file will now be prepared for the Coroner."
