Does your daughter love to sing?

Earlier this year female musicians from across Ireland came together to create Women in Harmony.

During lockdown Women in Harmony released a version of Cranberries classic Dreams which has had constant radio play since its release and was even performed on the Late Late show.

Now Women in Harmony are planning to record a Christmas track and are on the look out for young girls aged 12 and under to participate.

Women In Harmony are looking for twelve talented girls, aged twelve years and under, to join them as a tween choir for the recording.

The new under twelves group will be called the 12 x 12-and-under tween choir.

IWIH Harmonizer-In-Chief RuthAnne Cunningham says:

“Irish Women In Harmony is all about inspiring young Irish girls to get into music and dream big. When I was younger I always wanted to sing at any opportunity I got, so we’d like to give 12 x 12s-and-under the chance to sing with us on our Christmas project. And we are so excited to hear your submissions.”

If you have a daughter, niece, sister or cousin that you think has what it takes to be one of the 12 x 12-and-under tween choir here is how they can join Irish Women In Harmony.

Anyone looking to apply will need to submit a 30-second video clip of themselves singing ‘Dreams’ to irishwomeninharmony@gmail.com or post/dm their video on Instagram tagging @irishwomeninharmony and the hashtag #IWIHSearch.

All entrants must make sure they have the permission of a parent or guardian before they submit your entry.

The deadline for entries is next week, midnight on Wednesday September 30.

The twelve winners will be selected by RuthAnne and members of the Irish Women In Harmony project. In line with current government guidelines, all COVID social-distancing measures will be observed for the recording.

For any little girl that loves singing this is the opportunity of a life time so get those video clips in by next week because you just never know.
