Temperatures to hit up to 25 degrees in parts of the country next week

It’s been a mixed bag over the past week or so but Met Éireann reckons we’ll be getting some warm weather once again – or at least some of us will.

The summer’s not quite over yet as Met Éireann is predicting that temperatures could reach 25 degrees at the beginning of the coming week.

Monday is set to be dry with sunny spells according to the forecaster, though it’ll be a bit cloudier in the west with some patchy drizzle.

We can expect highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees, though there’ll be light to moderate winds.

Tuesday looks like it will be a very different day in different parts of the country.

Those in the north and west can expect breezy conditions and outbreaks of rain with highs of 16 to 19 degrees. It’ll be warm and humid in the east and south, meanwhile, with some sunshine and top temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees. We can also expect some moderate wind.

It’s then forecast to cool off towards the end of the week.

As for this weekend, Met Éireann says that light showers across the country that will turn into persistent rain, sometimes heavy, later this evening with highs of 17 to 21 degrees.

Sunday will be humid with sunny spells and scattered showers. Highs of 17 to 21 degrees.
