New Girl star, singer-songwriter and all round girl crush Zooey Deschanel has finally revealed the name of her three-month-old daughter.
The star, 35, told People that her first child with husband Jacob Pechenik is named… Elsie Otter.
Answering the first question on everybody’s lips, Deschanel confirmed: ‘Otter, like the animal,’
Hubbie Jacob helpfully added: ‘Sea otter.’
So there you go, hopefully that’s cleared up any further questions you may have. While we all ruminate on the name, the couple have decided to keep photos of their little one, born in Texas in July, to themselves for the moment.
