One of the oddest things you'll read today.

They may have what many people consider to be the 'full package' - a boy and a girl - but Prince William and Duchess of Cornwall Kate Middleton have been urged to not have any more kids. In an open letter, US children's organisation Having Kids has called on the couple to leave their family as a foursome. The royals were on walkabout in Warsaw, Poland recently when they were given a baby toy from a fan, reports RTÉ. Kate joked to William that they'd have to have more babies, a throwaway quip that's prompted Having Kids to get in touch. In the open letter, its Executive Director President, Anne Green Carter Dillard wrote that their influence could encourage others worldwide to have large families.
"Your discussion of having a larger family raises compelling issues of sustainability and equity. Large families are not sustainable. "Many studies... show family planning has the most potential for mitigating climate change and its impacts. The future of your country will be defined by the impacts of climate change."
She went on to say that while Prince George and Princess Charlotte are "protected" from environmental issues and poverty, the same can't be said for other children around the world.
"Rather than having a third or more children, families (should) consider forgoing another child and taking part of the substantial resources saved to help a different family plan a fair start in life for their child."
Wonder what Kate and Wills will have to say to that.
