Victoria Beckham has just trademarked her daughter’s name and this is why

Putting young children to work has long been outlawed, but as with many other aspects of life, it seems like it’s a different story for celebs.

The Beckham clan has never done things by halves and we’re actually kinda impressed by this latest move.

Because now mum-of-four Victoria Beckham has trademarked her daughter Harper’s name.

Yup, that’s right.

The fashion designer registered ‘Harper Beckham’ with intellectual property authorities in Britain and Europe, according to the BBC.

The move means that as Harper’s guardian, Victoria, holds the rights to her name and is the only person who can put ‘Harper Beckham’ branding on products.

It also prevents anyone else in the entertainment industry from using the name.

I think they love him! We ? you @davidbeckham X VB ??

Little Harper, who is five, now follows in the footsteps of her three older brothers Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, who also have their monikers trademarked.

The Beckhams are, of course, well-known for their many brand deals – and David and Victoria have put their name behind anything from fragrances and beauty products to whiskey and underwear.

Brand Beckham is thought to be worth more than £500 million.
