2. It’s Their Creative Space
So much vibrant colour and so many winding obstacles in a safe environment is the perfect place for letting those imaginations grow. It means kids are communicating and learning creatively while us parents can take a break. Phew!
3. They’ll Take Care of Lunch
Play centres like Kidspace are designed for both parents and children. Everyone should feel at ease and at home. Better yet, there's plenty of yummy food options to satisfy you and the kids. Yep, we won't even need to whip up a sandwich. Hurrah! And by the way, if you're in need of a pick-me-up, get to Grab n' Go Takeaway service inside the new play centre in Rathcoole for a lovely warm cup of coffee.
4. Caters for a Diverse Age Group
Kidspace caters to babies and children all the way up to eight years-of-age. At Rathcoole, there's a toddler area for under three's, plus a main frame area for ages three and over. In here you'll find four slides, two role play areas, a bike track while it's play area spans over 10,000sq ft, four stories high!
While at Rathfarnham, there are two of these big frame areas along with a four-lane colour slide - lots of room for a great time. The toddler area, is super soft and cushy so falls won’t be so sore afterall. They'll even have their own ball pit, a two-lane slide and interactive games too.
5. Sensory Play
At Kidspace Rathfarnham, they have what they call their ‘Sensory Town.’ It's for those of our kids who are more sensitive to their surroundings, and so this safe space within the toddler area is the ideal little haven for them. Playtime feels calm and tranquil in the multi-sensory space so you and the kids can choose to relax and chill out, or you can interact with the various equipment provided, that's designed to help their sensory development.
6. Makes the Best Memories
The experiences we have as a child are what shape us later in life. So it’s essential that we give kids the best memories possible. Activities like these play areas are destined to give LOADS of belly laughs, provide oodles of fun and games, plus a safe environment in which they can be themselves.
7. It’s Affordable
Us parents tend to jump at any opportunity we can when it’s guaranteed to be great value for the kids. They're a pricey bunch after all. But at Kidspace, it will cost €7 per child (Tuesday - Friday) for a lengthy 90 minutes of play, and if you bring two more of their friends, it will cost you €6 per child. There's also a €10 meal deal on offer (includes entry and kids meal) midweek too. Saturdays and Sundays cost €8.50 and they also provide Midweek Playcentre Packages and Party Packages, where no doubt the Girls Pampering Room, the Lego Party Room and the Superhero Room will be adored by all.
8. Fitness
If only we had this much fun when it came to our own fitness regime. The best way to get fit and energised is to not feel as though you’re exercising at all. With so much fun being had, those little legs will be running, leaping and jumping non-stop, and they’ll love each and every minute.
With fast food and sugar available at every corner, parents have plenty of reason to be concerned. Kids will of course manage to get their hands on little treats every now and again, but we can ensure they still get their fitness in and continue feeling great.
9. Rainy Days
With so many days that are really best catered to the ducks, mums and dads can run out of play time options. But don’t panic, Kidspace is located in Rathfarnham, just a 10 minute drive from the M50 and with customer parking provided. On Tuesday, May 1, there's set to be another fantastic play centre opening in Rathcoole too, so get planning the perfect family play day that they'll love.
