Pop culture put the unicorn front and centre this year, with the legendary creature appearing on everything from socks to pyjamas.
Now however, one Dublin confectioner has brought two of our very favourite things together, creating a unicorn inspired cake that is everything a birthday should be.
Yep; the good folks at Sweet Republic are at it again, having grabbed the sugar-loving nation’s attention last year when they opened the doors to their calorie emporium on Dublin’s Bachelor’s Walk to lengthy queues.
Not content with the Chocolate Sandwich or the S’Mores Waffle, they’ve added the Unicorn Cake to the menu, allowing customers to customise the delicous Belgian chocolate biscuit cake with their favourite bars and treats, from Oreo, Malteasers and Mars to Reeses and Nutella.
Then it’s time to consider the toppings: will you plump for donuts, giant lollies, macarons or ice cream cones?
