Applications are now open for Shannon Airport’s ‘Santa Flight Lottery’

Applications are now open for the Santa flights lottery!

Shannon Airport in conjunction with Ryanair will be operating Santa Flights again this year and online applications are now open. The flights will take place on December 3 and 4. Shannon Airport posted yesterday that the Santa Flight Lottery is now live and all money raised will be going to two charities - Clare Crusaders and Share A Dream Foundation. The cost to enter the lottery for seats on board the Santa Flights is €1 per seat. You can bid for the total number of seats you and your family require, subject to a maximum of six seats.If you win seats for your family, no other charges will apply. For those lucky enough to be chosen once on board Santa’s elves and the crew will make sure you are all buckled in safely before Santa himself comes to visit! Each flight is approximately 30 minutes long and every child will receive a small gift from Shannon Airport. I applied last year but unfortunately wasn't chosen so I've my fingers crossed that 2018 will be our year. Applications are randomly selected for the 2,000 seats available and those wishing to apply can do so through Eventbrite. Lottery winners will be notified next week on November 14.
