Parents, have you ever wondered why baby soothers (or dodies) come in those little plastic boxes?
In a recent TikTok video, Arthur Gourounlian shared a game-changing tip that many parents might not know.
“Gorgeous people, I was today’s years old when I discovered that you can actually sterilise the dodies in the box,” Arthur explains.
He goes on to say: “Every time when I buy a dodie, I’m wondering why they’re coming in the boxes, obviously for hygiene.
“But you can actually sterilise them in the box.”
For those of us who used to throw away those boxes, this is a total revelation.
Arthur continues: “I used to throw all the boxes but now I know you actually put them in the microwave for four minutes and they’re all sterilised, so don’t throw the boxes.”
This quick and easy method not only saves time but also ensures that your baby’s pacifiers are hygienically clean and ready to use.
Plus, it’s a great way to repurpose those handy little boxes.
So next time you’re about to toss that pacifier packaging, remember Arthur’s tip. “Now you know, learn something new every day. J’adore.”
It important to note that not all plastic boxes sold with dodies are suitable for microwave sterilisation. You should ensure to check on the packaging before trying this viral hack.
Happy parenting!
