Bernard Brogan jokes about fatherhood one week after welcoming twins

He and his wife welcomed twins last week.

Bernard Brogan and his wife Keira became first-time parents last week after welcoming twins at the Rotunda Hospital. The GAA star shared the news with followers on social media on Friday night and revealed the gorgeous names he and Keira chose for their little ones.

“Never have I felt as blessed,” Bernard said. “Thank you to my beautiful wife, Keira. “Welcome Donagh and Keadán Brogan.”

Well, it seems like less than a week into the new gig and Bernard is already getting a hold of things, as is new mum Keira.

“She’s a pro already and is doing a brilliant job with the lads,” Bernard told the Sunday World. “I’m so proud of her, it’s amazing to watch. "And I have the nappy changin down to a fine art.”

However, Bernard later admitted that his emotions are all over the place as he tries to get a handle on parenthood.

“I am going through the emotions right now… it’s half excitement, half nervousness. “We are so thrilled.”
