“For anyone feeling alone today.”

Malin Andersson has shared an important post on Mother’s Day to any mothers and daughters who might be struggling with bereavement or loss.

The former Love Island contestant’s baby daughter died at the beginning of this year when she was just four weeks old.

Baby Consy had been born seven seeks premature at the end of December. She passed away at Great Ormond Street’s children’s hospital on January 23.

Sharing a video of Consy in hospital, Malin wrote: “I would have been the best Mumma to you. I know so.”

Malin also asked “anyone feeling alone today” to check out her Instagram Story, where she had shared some photos of herself and her own mother, also named Consy, who passed away following a battle with cancer in 2017.

“My strength, my brave mum,” she wrote.

“Look how completely different to how I remember. I’m angry you took my little one but I know she’s safe with you. I love you unconditionally.

“You truly have given me your ultimate strength.”

The 26-year-old also shared a card that had been written from her daughter, saying that grandma is “proud of you and she is taking good care of me.”

“Please stay strong for me because that is what makes me happy.”

Following her daughter’s passing, Malin urged people to speak to somebody if they are struggling and to “always keep your closest friends close to your heart.”
