The bizarre punishments Rod Stewart has used to discipline his kids

Their actions have some serious consequences.

Rod Stewart is apparently no softie when it comes to his eight children. The 73-year-old is known to have introduced some tough punishments in his home and his wife, Penny Lancaster, has been spilling the beans. Ahead of the launch of her parenting column Family Life in the Mail, Penny has been revealing what her husband of 10 years is like at home.

“Rod obsessed about keeping the house in order,” she revealed.

However, the dad-of-eight has done some pretty extreme things when his kids misbehave.

“If the girls bring their dogs into the house and they don’t clean up after them, he has been known to put the poo under their car seats! “The boys also have an Xbox room on which he has put a lock and a cardboard sign which will say things like, ‘No entry. You left the lights on’ or ‘You’ve been rude to Mummy’.”

Yikes - we wouldn’t want to cross him! The pair has been married for 10 years this year and has two children together, Alastair and Aiden, however, Rod is also dad to six other children from previous relationships.
