Katie Price may be about to get UK law changed about online bullying.

The mum set up a petition last year to try and make online abuse a criminal offence after son Harvey became the repeated target of bullying and social media trolls. Speaking on Loose Women today, Price said she had been invited to parliament to discuss the law. She said:

"Last year I set up a petition which got over 220,000 signatures, then Theresa May became prime minister and it got put on hold, to make online abuse a criminal offence. "The reason I started it was not just because of him, it can help other people, but he was getting trolled so much about his colour, his size, his condition. "And although I had people arrested they police couldn’t take it any further because there’s nothing in place."

"Imagine if someone goes for a job interview and you really, really like this person, but then someone comes up and says this comes up on their record and you can see they’ve got a criminal offence for online bullying or whatever, you’d think twice about that person. "Everything is online. I think it’s really important."
