Odhrán Staunton Doherty has been receiving treatment in Ireland since his diagnosis, however the results have not been as positive as his family had hoped.
The three-year-old now needs to travel to France for two operations in two separate hospitals to receive the appropriate treatment. His grandad, Paul Staunton, has set up a fundraiser in the hope of ensuring Odhrán gets the medical attention he needs. "He is only 3 years old and is fighting with all his might," said Paul. The grandad has already raised almost €5,000 for Odhrán's treatment, however he still needs a further €15,000 to send the toddler to France. Another fundraiser for Odhrán will also be held on Friday, February 8 in Curragh Camp, Kildare. You can check out the GoFundMe page here.
