Parents have raised concerns over a video of a dad singing to his baby

'My stomach dropped.'

Parents have raised concerns about this video of a dad singing to his baby.

The dad in question, Dan Fowlks, shared some footage of himself singing and playing guitar to his baby girl who was playing on a bed.

The baby looks delighted, Dan looks delighted – it’s just a generally nice thing to see during this age of horror and upset.

Look, like.

So happy.

You can view the full video here, and even though it’s super adorable, some parents were under the impression that Dan’s daughter was not entirely safe.

Anyone else cringing in fear the baby would fall or is it just the helicopter father in me?” asked one dad.

“My stomach dropped every time she rocked,” said another woman.

“I just want to jump in front of that baby with my arms out,” said the first dad again.

The thread continued on this way for a while, with many other parents expressing concern for the child’s safety until the baby’s mum got involved and stated the obvious.

She said:

“If you notice, my husband puts his leg up to keep her from falling.

“It’s funny how you had to point that out when clearly it was just meant to be a cute and endearing video.”

Brilliant.

And accurate too.

There’s no doubt that this baby is totally safe and only delighted to have her dad singing to her.

Bless.
