Pink’s husband Carey Hart responds to critics after sharing photo of sick son

“Wanna know how glamorous tour can be?”

Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, has responded to fans who accused him of exposing other people to his young son Jameson’s hand, foot and mouth disease.

The motocross rider and their two children, Willow, 7, and 20-month-old Jameson, are currently joining the Try singer on the Australian leg of her tour.

Things, however, don’t appear to be going to plan.

The dad-of-two came under fire on Tuesday after he shared a photo of his young son, who he said had hand, foot, mouth disease.

He wrote alongside the photo:

“Wanna know how glamorous tour can be? Jameson has hand, foot, and mouth; and willow has a 102 [around 39C] temp.

“Both kids laid up and mama @pink still has to push through and do shows.

“I had Jameson at breakfast yesterday and this vile woman at the table next to us kept staring at him with a sh*tty look on her face. I told her it was bed bugs.”

Some parents sympathised with Hart, while others took the side of the “vile woman” – admonishing him for exposing others to the high contagious disease.

One mum wrote:

“I love following your feed for sure because you are very honest. But as a mom of 3 whose kids have had HFM a few times, I say that you made a mistake.

“HFM is super contagious and it’s not fair to knowingly expose others…”

Another added:

“Well hand foot and mouth is highly contagious so I probably would have gave you a dirty look too…”

The motocross rider responded to a few of the comments, before putting up a general response to his critics a few hours later.

The second photo, which shows Jameson in a little push-truck, was captioned:

“Jameson and I out infecting the world #PediatricianSaysHeIsGoodButIWillTakeYourWord”

According to the HSE:

“Hand, foot and mouth disease is a common, mild illness caused by a type of virus called an enterovirus.

“It is usually caused by the coxsackie A virus, but in some cases can be caused by the coxsackie B or the enterovirus 71 virus.

“Hand, foot and mouth disease gets its name from the non-itchy rash that develops on the palms of your hands and soles of your feet. It can also cause ulcers in your mouth and make you feel generally unwell, although some people have no symptoms.”
