The first photos of Lauren Conrad’s newborn son have been revealed

Lauren Conrad gave birth to her firstborn son, William 'Liam" James, at the beginning of July. Since then, we have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of those first adorable baby pictures - and today, our wishes were granted. People magazine have published exclusive photos of the new mum and baby Liam, and they are nothing short of super cute. Here's Lauren, husband William Tell, and baby Liam. And here's Lauren and the newborn on the cover of the magazine. The former The Hills star told People that before giving birth, she felt like she was going on a blind date.

“I don’t really love surprises. I like to have all the information. And I was sharing my body with someone, so I wanted to know as much as possible about him.”

Lauren also said that she had hoped she would have a boy because as a child she could also "play best" with boys. The 31-year-old said that when she and husband Liam began to settle down, they took things slow with regards to having children.

“In my early 20s I was open to having them or not having them. But after meeting William, I changed my mind. I knew I wanted to have a family with him. But I didn’t want to do it right away.

I’m crazy about Liam, but I never really got baby fever. We wanted to enjoy being married and to really be in the right space. We took our time, so it was something to look forward to.”
