This year, The Helix and TheatreworX Productions are delighted to announce Temple Street Children’s University Hospital as its charity partner, with a special charity show on the 13th of December where ALL proceeds on the night will go directly to the hospital.
A specially adapted sensory-friendly performance will also take place on Tuesday 18th of December which will include no sudden noises or bangs, softer and brighter lighting, and music at a suitable level.
Returning to The Helix pantomime stage, Paul Byrom will play the role of the greedy Sheriff of Nottingham. Speaking at the launch Paul said;
“I thoroughly enjoyed the panto experience last year, so when the opportunity came around to play the role of the Sheriff of Nottingham I jumped at the chance! I’m really looking forward to working with the wonderful cast and the TheatreworX team for another great run at The Helix”.
Creative Director of TheatreworX Productions and producer of The Helix Panto, Claire Tighe said;
“The TheatreworX team and I are returning to The Helix for the 11thyear and our aim is to make it the biggest and best yet! Families will be in for the ultimate Christmas treat enjoying song, dance and comedy, spectacular sets and a very talented cast of larger than life characters”.Robin Hood has always been one of my favourite pantos and I can't wait to see what surprises the cast and crew have in store for audiences this year!
