Any parent knows that there’s a lot of research to be done before your first baby comes along.

The new series will feature candid and informative interviews with experts in the world of pregnancy, postpartum and baby health, all with the aim of helping new parents like you feel more at ease about the journey that lies ahead.

These experts will sit down with podcast host and CarePlus Brand Director, Lee-Ann Hyland, to help listeners navigate the highs and lows that come with being a new parent.

Across six episodes, each of these industry experts will tackle the big issues at the forefront of every new parent’s mind, including preparing for birth, the fourth trimester, breastfeeding, sleep, your emotional and mental health as a mother, and loads more helpful baby health tips.

Some of the expert guests lined up to take the mic include:

  • Aine Hennessy, founder of AH Midwifery
  • Layla O’Mara, founder of Nua Nua
  • Registered General Nurse, Katie Mugan, also known as Nursing Mama
  • Psychologist and founder of Sparkback, Anne Morgan
  • Founder Babogue Sleep Solutions, Erica Hargaden
  • Dr Laura Lenihan, GP, influencer and founder of Dr Laura Clinic.

With the new podcast, CarePlus aims to give parents easy access to real and digestible tips, that come from a trusted expert. “We wanted to create a podcast that I wish I had access to when I was about to give birth to my first child. I read so many books with lots of detail but craved a place where I could get the inside scoop from the people who know, and who have been there before,” Lee-Ann explains.

You can subscribe to Care+Conversations wherever you get your podcasts, with new episodes available every Wednesday.
