Jervis Shopping Centre is holding loads of FREE kids events over the summer

It’s hard finding kid activities to fill the whole summer.

Two – sometimes three – months is a LONG time. The little ones love a bit of quality time with the parents, sure, but they are happiest when out and about and getting up to something exciting. Problem is, there are only so many activities happening and, honestly, only so much money we’re able to spend in one summer.

Now, thank goodness, we have found some weekend kid events that are being held every weekend in July and August and – best part – they’re completely free to attend (hurrah!).

These events are taking place at the Jervis Shopping Centre which is ideal because we can get that weekly shop in while we’re at it. It’s the little things.

There are all sorts of events happening, like kids Hip Hop (so fun!), T-shirt designing, and a Jervis Pirates Weekend (you just KNOW they’re going to love that one).

This week’s event is Pottery Painting with Giddy Studios. Bring the kids down and let them get creative as they design a pottery piece that they get to bring home afterwards. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come basis so be sure to get there early. The pottery sessions start at 1:30pm, 2:30pm, and 3:30pm.

Events will be held every Saturday from 1-5pm until the kids head back to school, so they’ll have something great to look forward to every week.

As well as the specific events, there will be loads of fun things going on around the shopping centre at the same time. Look out for various characters strolling about the place and be sure to stop by one of the balloon modelling stations. It’ll be like a weekly party!

Gino’s Gelato and Off Beat Donuts will, of course, be on hand to provide some delicious treats and replenish that energy when needed.

Jervis Shopping Centre is now in its 23rd year and is one of Dublin’s most successful shopping centres. It’s very easily accessible, being right on the Luas line and with all-day car parking capped at €13 (now that’s what we like to hear!).

To find out more about these fabulous family days out, just check out the Jervis Shopping Centre website. We will definitely be heading down for a little adventure time. We hope to see you there, mums and dads.
