Study says that being a stay-at-home parent is harder than going to work

A recent study claims that being a stay-at-home parent is more difficult than working a job and part of me agrees. While I've been exhausted coming home from work plenty of times it's definitely different from how tired I am after watching the kids all day. You also don't get designated lunch breaks when you're a stay-at-home parent. A poll of over 1,500 U.K. parents was commissioned by healthcare professionals Aveeno Baby showed that 31 per cent of parents surveyed said staying at home with a child is harder than going to work. I can understand this as working part-time the days at home with the kids are significantly more stressful, with good reason. While at work I'm only responsible for myself but when I'm at home I'm responsible for the well-being of two other small people. Even though many parents felt that being a stay-at-home parent was more difficult than working a job that also said they wouldn't change being a parent for the world with 42 per cent saying that their children gave them the greatest feeling of unconditional love. I think all in all being a parent has more pros than cons. Saying that I wouldn't mind being able to finish a cup of tea before it goes cold on my days at home with the tots.
