Sustainable Fashion is running a swap shop for parents and kids

Melissa Carton

The popular Sustainable Fashion swaps are back but this time there’s a family-friendly twist.

Taking place this Friday, the Mums and Tots clothing swap has everything you could want from a zero-waste event.

With sustainability talks, sustainable fashion stalls and of course, the swap shop, it’s a great way to get out with the kids, meet new parents and help the environment.

I’ve been a big fan of swap shops for a long time. I started attending them during the recession through college and slowly but surely became addicted.

Not only does swapping with others save you a fortune but you also don’t know what amazing gems you might discover.

I think a swap for kids clothing is particularly great because they grow out of clothes so quickly.

The eco-friendly event takes place this Friday, August 16 from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm at The Well, Dublin.

Each person can bring up to five pieces of children’s clothing (ages newborn to five), and up to three pieces of adult clothing with every age and size and maternity wear welcome.

Tickets for the event are €15 and you can pre-book yours and find out more information about this amazing sustainable fashion event here.
