‘The kid is mine’: Drake has just confirmed he has a son on his new album

Drake has just confirmed he has a son with former adult film star Sophie Brussaux. The 31-year-old rapper admitted to the long-rumored news in lyrics to his new album Scorpion, which was released early Friday morning. In one of the tracks, Emotionless, he declares:

“I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world/I was hiding the world from my kid. “Breakin’ news in my life I don’t run to the blogs/ The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call."

He also appeared to address the relationship with his son's mum, Sophie, in March 14. He pays tribute to Michael Jackson's Billie Jean, while also talking about his mum, Sandi. He raps:

"She's not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine/ Sandi used to tell me all it takes it one time, and all it took was one time/ S**t, we only met two times, two times. "I used to challenge my parents on every album/ Now I'm embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent/ Always promised the family unit/ I wanted it to be different because I've been through it."

He also revealed that his son was born on October 11, recalling how he celebrated in Miami when the DNA test confirmed he was the little boy's dad. Drake said that while he had rushed out to buy a crib for his son, he has only met him once at Christmas time. He and Sophie have not revealed their son's name, Pusha T recently claimed the little boy's name is Adonis. In a track taking aim at the Hotline Bling hitmaker, he claimed that Drake had been "hiding a child".
