The Mystery Of The Spongebread Continues And We Are A Holy Show

Amanda Cassidy

The Internet blue or gold dress colour debacle made me want to gouge my eyes out with a spoon.

A similar white handbag caused mass confusion although I’m not entirely sure why because it was OBVIOUSLY WHITE.

Just because the Daily Mail called it an ‘optical illusion’ we fell about debating over what we saw.  It’s gold. No, it’s blue! Really? Do you really think it’s blue?

*deadeye stare

Now author Craig Stone has divided opinion with a picture he posted of a dried up slice of bread in his kitchen. Or is it a sponge?

In the spirit of the ridiculousness, we bring you this slice of internet tat that has even inspired one person to write a poem about it.

Anyone, have a spoon handy?

The most recent update is that Craig will be announcing the great reveal in the coming days. Can’t. Hardly. Wait.

Soak it up people. What a time to be alive.

(*For the record, I’m #teamsponge)
