If you’re headed to Bloom this weekend with the kids, there is a very special garden that you really shouldn’t miss.
Husband and wife team Liat and Oliver Schurmann from Mount Venus Nursery in Rathfarnham, Dublin, were commissioned by Warner Bros to create a very special project.
With a nod to the upcoming The Legend of Tarzan movie (in Irish cinemas on July 8th), the couple were asked to design a garden inspired by the African jungle in which the movie is set.
Not only did Liat and Oliver leap to the challenge, but they have just been awarded the coveted gold medal award for best garden at the festival.
Not at all shabby given that it took only ten days in total to create!
Speaking to HerFamily.ie today, Oliver Schurmann says that he and his wife are ‘exhausted but thrilled’ and are looking forward to enjoying the rest of the weekend.
I know the first pit-stop we’ll have with our kids when we get to the Phoenix Park this weekend – we won’t be able to keep them away!
