The summer holidays are coming to an end but there's still time left to get in a few more family activities before the bell rings and this one is right up my alley. This Dublin based tour company recently posted to Facebook that they run special discount rates for children under 14 and if that wasn't enough they even have cake! Vintage Tea Tours offer trips around Dublin with a tea-tastic twist! Customers can expect to have an indulgent afternoon tea complete with mini sandwiches and petit fours while taking in all the sites of Ireland's capital city. You can also choose between a traditional afternoon tea, gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan option. The adult ticket price for tea and a tour is €45 but children aged six to 14 can take in the sights and delights for only €25. Considering you get not just a wonderful afternoon out but also a delicious lunch this offer is a pretty good one. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love a cup of tea and I've been eyeing up the Vintage Tea Tours for a while but I think this may be the perfect excuse to finally book a tour with them. The tours run Wednesday through to Sunday at 11 am, 1:15 pm and 3:30 pm and last approximately 80 minutes.
