Actor and new mum Andi Eigenmann shares postpartum photo one day after C-section

“As a c- section mom, we shouldn’t need to be in such a hurry to get back into exercising.”

Actor Andi Eigenmann has shared a photo of herself one day after having a C-section.

The new mum said that she wanted to share a picture of herself wearing a binder to depict the reality of trying to get back into a fitness regime after having a baby.

… And the safe way of trying to get back into a fitness regime after having a baby via C-section.

“This photo was from the fresh 48 at the hospital,” she wrote.

“Taken after what seems to be the best/longest shower of my life! Decided to snap a pic to show what I look like one day postpartum.

“I figured I’d share it here too since most of those who talk about their comeback fitness routines that Ive read online are from post normal births, and not much post C-sec.”

Eigenmann wrote that she wanted to get back to planning her exercise regime, but that she was also far too busy obsessing over her newborn baby.

She also loaned some important advice to C-section mothers about taking care of their bodies after giving birth.

“As a C-section mom, we shouldn’t need to be in such a hurry to get back into exercising because it will be easier to do that once we let ourselves recover completely by getting the rest we need in between caring for baby,” she said.

“Besides, breastfeeding is good enough exercise for now.”

Eigenmann also mentioned the binder she is wearing in the photo, saying that one them – as well as her postpartum underwear – were going to help her move around safely while her wound heals.

Her photo has already received over 70,000 likes on Instagram.
