Alcohol free bar opening in Dublin is perfect for a pregnant mums night out

Melissa Carton

When I was pregnant night outs were a bit watered down.

Fizzy drinks set my morning sickness off in a big way so most of the time I would end up knocking back nothing but water for the night. Not very exciting.

There were a couple of pubs that served things like hot chocolate and milkshakes all night and they were my go-to spots for date night, but they were few and far between.

Now, there is a new bar opening in Dublin city centre that serves nothing but alcohol-free drinks and is absolutely ideal if you’re a pregnant mum-to-be craving a night out.

The Virgin Mary Bar opens tomorrow May 10 on Capel Street in Dublin. The new pub will be offering a wide variety of beer, wine and cocktails with zero per cent alcohol content.

Owners Vaughan Yates and Oisin Davis decided to open the Virgin Mary after noticing a gap in the market for alcohol-free bars in Ireland.

Not just great for expectant mums, the Virgin Mary is perfect for anyone that fancies a night out but doesn’t fancy the hangover afterwards.

Launching in less than a day you can find out more about the bar and their menu by following their social media channels.
