Yes, Amy Schumer has been pregnant for what seems like hundreds of years but don’t worry – she feels the same way.
Amy, who is expecting her first child with husband Chris Fischer, took to Instagram yesterday to give an update that didn’t turn out to be much of an update at all.
In the video, the comedian teases that she’s going to reveal the sex of her baby before saying that the child will be free to identify however it chooses.
“I know it probably seems like I’ve been pregnant for 1,000 years to you guys, but I’ve been working really hard,” she tells fans.
“It’s not all just relaxing and eating doughnuts,” she continues, before biting into a doughnut.
“What I wanted to announce was the baby’s gender.
“Which we’re so excited to say that we don’t care what the baby’s gender is.
“Any way the baby identifies is cool with us as long as it doesn’t identify as a DJ cause that’s heartbreaking.”
Amy then went on to her “real announcement”, which is that she has a comedy special coming to Netflix next month.
It looks like we’ll clearly be waiting a while to hear anything more about baby Schumer, then.
Amy and Chris, who have been married for a year, announced their baby news back in October.
She has since revealed that she’s suffered with hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness that she has been hospitalised for.
She has continued to tour throughout her pregnancy and has more dates pencilled in for this month.
