This caught my eye straight away on her Insta-stories because my daughter was absolutely tiny when she was born at the Coombe and nothing I packed would fit her.
She could have swam laps in the baby grows I'd brought so a family member went out to Mothercare and bought me some premature baby clothes.
Little did I know that the Coombe actually stock bit for premature babies so I'm guessing some other mammies might not know either.
Big thumbs up to Cherry Stone on this one.
Next she showed off some of the essentials for both mother and baby.
One of the new mums beside me the last time I was in the Coombe was a first time mum and nobody had given her a heads up to bring maternity pads.
I gave her some of mine as I was checking out that day but if you find yourself running low the shop stock sanitary pads. They won't be as heavy duty as the like of Tena (unless they are there and just out of shot) but they'll tide you over in a pinch.
Breastfeeding is always recommended, but if for some reason you can't or baby is going home before you the Coombe shop also stock ready made formula bottles.
Once again very handy, especially if you're a first time mum, or dad, who hasn't made up formula before.
If you're not already following Its Cherry Stone I highly recommend giving her a follow especially if you're expecting a baby soon.
I would have loved a blogger like Cherry Stone to follow before I had my first baby as I had no idea what to expect once I entered the hospital.
She's also gas craic as well.Explore more on these topics:
