Mum CANCELS baby shower because family made fun of her baby name

Wow.

A mum-to-be has apparently cancelled her baby shower because members of her family kept making fun of the name she had chosen for her baby. Sounds a bit harsh on the family's end, you think? The name she has chosen is Squire Sebastian Senator. Yeah, really. On a Facebook post shared on Reddit, the furious mum wrote that she was cancelling the shower and having a smaller party with people who don't treat her "like shit." She explained why.

“No, I am not crazy. No, I am not mentally unstable. No, I was not drunk when I named my child. "You cannot force me to change his name. This is the name I was meant to give him. "No this is not his full name. Squire Sebastian Senator is only his first name. This is how it will be. He will not be allowed to have a nickname, he is to be called by his full and complete first name."

Well, alright then. And powerful. And probably an extremely entitled little boy. She goes on:

“We come from a long line of both squires and senators. If you look back in our family tree, the survival of this clan is literally rooted in squiredom. We are all related to senators too. "The name conveys wealth. It conveys success."

Right so. Anyway, the post ends with the mum saying "fuck you" to her "fake ass family" for not supporting her choices. Lovely.
