So, without further ado, here are baby names parents are not going near this year:

Alexa – because of Amazon's Alexa

Felicia – because of 'Bye, Felicia'

Katie – because of Katie Hopkins

Kate – because apparently people prefer Meghan Markle these days

Scarlett – because 'other shades' of colour are better, eg. Violet

Lauren – because apparently a LOT of reality stars have the same name

Stan – because of the hashtag #Stan

Harvey – because of Harvey Weinstein

Christian – because of the Fifty Shades
