TV and films have a pretty big impact on baby names.
No really, they do.
People love a bit of Netflix, Hulu, and just general celeb culture these days, so it makes sense then that what they name their children.
The old classics just aren’t good enough anymore, it would seem.
There are a couple of names that we could probably go ahead and guess will be huge this year – Stormi we’re looking at you – but there a few others that we wouldn’t really have guessed off the top of our heads.

Music Magpie said that trends show there’s no denying that the people we see on screen and magazines leave a lasting impression.
“It’s only natural to take from the world around us, and pop-culture really does guide plenty of our choices, including the names we give to our children.
“While some names seem to be eternal, we can expect to see the rise and fall of plenty of famous names in the years to come.”
The biggest influencing show of the last 10 years was, understandably, Game of Thrones, while the top climbers of the past decade were Jackson for a boy and Aria for a girl.
