C-section birth: A video that actually explains the anatomy of a section in an understandable way

Anatomy of a C-section

Wow – that’s incredible!

Guys – women’s bodies are truly amazing, and what we go through to bring our babies earth-side is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

But much as you might have seen videos and read tons of facts about vaginal births and how babies descend down through the birth canal and eventually – with some almighty effort, may we add – gets born, how many videos have you seen of what a C-section actually involves?

Not many, I am willing to bet.

Which is why we think this video we recently came across is absolutely worth a watch – it is not in any way super-gory, it doesn’t show any actual surgery – but it gives a really informative insight into just how a C-section is done – and how much is actually involved when your baby is being brought eart-side in this way.

Just take a look:

There is no denying that having a C-section is major abdominal surgery – just look at all the layers there are between the skin of your tummy and the actual space where your baby is?!

We have said it before, but it sure is worth saying again: Mums really are super-heroes.
