Olympian Michael Phelps and his wife Nicole have announced they are expecting their second child together.
The couple, who welcomed son Boomer in May 2016, made the announcement via matching social media posts on Tuesday afternoon.
Both accounts shared a photo of a beaming Nicole holding Boomer in a grassy field – with the toddler clutching a pregnancy test in his hand.
The Olympian posted alongside the photo:
“Number 2 on the way!!!! So excited!! Wonder if it’s a boy or a girl??”

Meanwhile, Nicole added alongside her photo:
“Lil mans going to be a Big Brother!!!”
