Rapper Nicki Minaj has just announced that she is pregnant with her first child and we couldn’t be any more excited for her.
The 37-year-old revealed to fans today that she is expecting with a glamorous and colourful photoshoot, true Nicki Minaj style.

Showing off her beautiful bump Minaj simply captioned the photo with #Preggers but it was enough for her friends and fans who were soon pouring in their well wishes.
The Hills star Kristin Cavallari wrote;
“Yessss congrats mama!”
While Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson commented “Congrats” accompanied with hearts and smiley faces.
Minaj later followed up with even more amazing photos from her pregnancy shoot.

Fans have speculated for a while that Minaj might be pregnant after she posted a video in February where her husband, Kenneth Petty, whom she married last year, can be seen rubbing her stomach.
Minaj also Tweeted about having food cravings and peeing non-stop which sent a lot of her fans into detective mode but they can hang up their clue finding hats as her pregnancy is now official.

Minaj has not mentioned when her baby is due, but going by the size of her bump and the fact that her Tweets suggest she’s been pregnant since the start of the year, at least we may not have long to wait until baby Minaj makes an appearance.
We’re absolutely delighted for her and cannot wait to see if she’ll have a boy or a girl and of course what name Nicki and her husband picks.
