Former X Factor contestant Katie Waissel has confirmed she is expecting her first child.
The singer, who featured in the 2010 series of the ITV competition, confirmed her happy news in a sweet social media post on Sunday.
Alongside an open letter to her fans, she shared a photo of her baby bump and ultrasound picture.
Her partner, Andy Speer, can be seen placing a hand on her baby bump.
In the background of the picture, there was a sign reading: ‘Baby Speer coming Summer 2018’.

“So today is officially the day that I get to share the greatest blessings on earth with you!
“For those who have been such a huge part of my journey over the years, you will know that life certainly hasn’t always thrown me roses however it has honestly been perfectly imperfect.
