Helen Flanagan has revealed why she kept her pregnancy a secret from her boyfriend.
The Coronation Street star announced that she was expecting her second child last December with partner Scott Sinclair.
However, Helen said today that she didn’t tell Scott right away about the pregnancy.
Speaking on Loose Women, she said that she kept it to herself for awhile as Scott was away in Dubai and she wanted to tell him to his face.

She said:
“I knew I was pregnant and I remember doing the test and telling my mum.
“But I really wanted to tell him to his face, as I knew he would be really pleased – which he was – so I kind of just wanted to….
“I remember when he was away he was like ‘You’re being a bit quiet’ but then when I told him… I was glad that I waited and didn’t tell him over the phone.”
We probably would’ve done the same, to be honest.

29-year-old Helen announced her news in OK! magazine in December.
She said that when she found out she was expecting, she wasn’t surprised.
“I did three more tests just to make sure it was correct! I had a very strong feeling I was pregnant, so I wasn’t surprised.”
The couple have been together since 2009. They welcomed their daughter, Matilda, in June 2015.
