Danniella Westbrook is expecting her first child with fiancé

Danniella Westbrook has confirmed she is expecting her first child with her fiancé Alan Thomason. The EastEnders star, who is already mum to Kai, 21, and Jody, 15, from previous relationships, shared the news after rumours she was expecting her third child. The Essex native opened up about her pregnancy over the weekend, saying it was "the happiest she's ever been". She told the Sunday Mirror:

“Alan is a hundred, million per cent the reason for my current happiness. "I’ve been lost a lot in my life. Now I’m centred. “I think we’ll be good parents together. Danniella, who had a brief stint back on EastEnders as Sam Mitchell last year, also opened up about the story behind their engagement. The couple first met when the actress was walking a pal's dog in Benidorm - and Alan popped the question just eight weeks later. She explained:

“He bought me a box of Haribo rings. "I thought we were joking, but then he was like, ‘No I’m deadly serious’. "Then he got down on one knee and pulled a proper ring out.”

The pair found out they were expecting their first child together just days later. Danniella added:

“We hadn’t been trying. But he was over the moon and so was I.”
