‘We are due next month’ Billy Joel and wife Alexis expecting second child

The Piano Man is going to be a dad once again.

Billy Joel confirmed that he his expecting his second child with his wife Alexis next month. The couple, who tired the knot in 2015, are already parents to two-year-old Della Rose. But the legendary musician confirmed in a profile with the Belfast Telegraph that they were going to be growing their family again - very soon. He told the publication:

"We are due next month."

The doting dad said that little Della Ray has a "pretty good" snooze schedule at the moment - and he's equally as hopeful for the impending arrival. He added:

“She sleeps through the night. “I hope the next one will. “I hang out with her [Della] and watch her little wheels spin “And she’s a hoot. She’s a funny kid. She loves to laugh. I like to make her laugh.”

The little boy or girl will be the third child for the 68-year-old musician. He is also dad to Alexa Ray, his 31-year-old daughter with ex-wife Christie Brinkley.   The 68-year-odl recently opened up about what it was like living with a little one once again during a recent appearance on Harry Connick Jr's Harry.  He explained:

"It's a hoot. It's a lot of fun. "She comes in every morning, wakes me up, throws my shorts on the bed. "I think she might be a musician, too...She picks up melody and she sings in key."
