The Calmus family spent three days turning their house into an engineering spectacle on a massive scale.
The three-minute video begins with their son knocking over his sippy cup in his cot – this, in turn, triggers a spinning bottle of talc to hit a toy which flies down a ramp.
The next stage of the contraption goes down the stairs into the office, hits a machine that shoots out ticker tape in the colour of the gender they are having.
The family shared the video on Facebook and the imaginative reveal has gone completely viral with over seven MILLION views.
